History

On the precise history of the villa, the year it was built and it original architect there are no record in the City Archives. The only known fact is that it was built in the XIX century by the well known Romanian trade family Radulovic.

Mr. Radulović, savvy tradesmen, was a famous winemakers and proprietor of the high quality silk factory. When the villa changed its owners, the style of living was also altered.

Albert Beker was a rich trader passionate about music and himself an amateur opera singer. Mr. Beker brought in a touch of leisurely refinement. In the beautifully landscaped garden, by the hum of the fountain and the sweet smell of the European reputed domestic wine, many celebrations of music and life were organized.

Every owner in its own unique way shaped the character of the villa and embedded a secret trait, while the one of the first its worker – builder left his signature in the 1913 newspapers found in the entry doors of the villa during its restoration.

With immense effort and hard work we restored Villa “D” and achieved to give back its old original grandeur and façade, with the intent to continue with the tradition of nurturing professionalism and the art of living.
